After last weekends loss looks like another winter of discontent for the Wallabies. Anyone know where there are a couple of good quality international frontrowers available - because the wobbolies certainly need to find them quickly! Doesn't say much for England or Ireland!

An anomaly, Baz.
All will be resumed this weekend...and next.
Don't ask me how I cam to this conclusion....because I don't know

Maybe That Blake bloke might make a difference when he's fit. Who knows, once the props thay have get some decent experience they might be ok. They got a raw deal when Elsom was binned - couldn't see what he did wrong.

Elsom was trapped on the wrong side of the ruck and couldn't free himself. Pretty poor decision, I reckon.
I have a feeling things will click this weekend....although rain is forecast for Saturday. First rain we've had in months....also coinciding with a skateboard competition I am running.
Damn!

So how many points start do you want to give the All Blacks A side this coming weekend Thomas? Not going to see them by some chance are you. You might even bump into rus there (in mufti of course)!

I didn't get a ticket Baz...but will be watching on my (unfortunately kiwi) mate's massive plasma screen TV.
I picked the Aussies to flog SA....but I am picking the All Blacks to win a very tight game...by only 3 or so points..maybe less.
I reckon both teams are close to peaking..the AB's more so, but if the Aussie pack fires on the day they might sneak a win.
The problem is....Dan Carter. I haven't seen a player of his type in a long long time...if ever. His game against the Boks last weekend was magnificant...and I got the feeling he rarely got out of 3rd gear.
If he has a great game...the AB's will win by plenty. Unlike previous AB 5/8's...I don't see any weaknesses in his game.
Bugger!

Only losing by 4 points was better than I thought the wallabies could do. Tipped the first points to be a penalty goal & an ABs win in the footy tipping at work. Pity about the Dragons Storm game though!

Aus vs Sth Africa, 2nd round. The following says it all really:
"WALLABY coach John Connolly will pray this is as bad as it gets.
There have been few Australian performances to plumb the depths of inadequacy as the shambles that passed as a Tri-Nations Test at Telstra Stadium last night."
The writer was being very kind - the worst test match of either code that I have ever had to endure. Even worse than a 1-0 scoreline in a st George newtown game from 3 decades ago!

One more victory like that & I'll be completely fucked! (Or words similar in meaning! No thank god - watched it on fta. Just resisted the temptation to turn it off at 1/2 time - morbid curiosity got the best of me! Personally I'd get rid of Gregan & Larkham. Cordingley & Rogers deserve a run in the starting side - & I'd find space for Rathbone - drop Gerard. None of those changes could make matters any worse & might add a spark of dash to a pedestrian backline.
