Well I'm cut to pieces regarding the WCC, NSW & the SOO + the Waratahs in the S14. And I'm not overconfident abut Aus in the ru tri nations.
There is hope however - the Dragons have appointed a new coach & are now up for their 8th straight win.
Things are very quiet here - even terminal!

Couple of times a week myself. This time next week I'll be in Maroochydore!

Maroochydore eh. About 14 or so hours north of me. Not as nice as here, but that's Qld for you. I haven't checked in for weeks, but have had a few looks over the past week or so - on holidays - you know us teachers! Enjoy the hols. My wife and daughter are visiting family in Italy - not a bad birthday present. I must have a million credit points! Pity it just takes one small mistake to blow them all. BTW - off to Leeton next year. Promoted!

Prediction time - who is going to win the silverware this year? world cup - Australia esl - Leeds nrl - Cronulla cc - St Helens origin - NSW Well that's the cup to the Saints. Crap game but at least the result was right - Hull's Wembley jinx continues. I can't think of another team - in any football code - that has such a hoodoo. Cronulla still hanging on in there.

I thought it was a decent game myself in difficult conditions. Sat win the Saints end. Definitely more from Hull there. A few empty spaces in unusual areas - did coaches of fans not turn up? There could have been a few more Saints fans, maybe thought it was going to be too easy.

I thought there was a problem with Wembly in that several seats are block owned by corporates and these are not available for general sale? Hence some empty seats.

Kier, yes there are the Club Wembley seats which have been bought by those wanting to see all the football games for certain without a ticket lottery. The RL cup final is included in that package (I think they paid £19,000!?), so wether they attend is up to them. As they are football fans foremost, 95% won't attend.
This year there were more RL fans in those seats........gradually word gets around as to who has them and some are advertised for sale.
The seats I mentioned were those away from the Club Wembley ones (middle tier). I could see a section full of Hull fans and then in the middle a block of 40 unsold. Any way, we knew it wasn't going to be a sell-out.
